'God Save the Queen' Marie Yeo acted as adjudicator and piaced Debbie Heard, first, f ollowed by Jonathan, Staples. lan Moffat, Patty Maq and a Gr. VI student Barbara Krause. In- teresting du ets were played by Debhje and Wendy Heard; Kathy and MargaretMoffat; ýKaren and Lorna Lowery; Timmy Stapleton and Mrs. Staples. Ail twenty' pupils entered en- thusiastically into playing their varînus numbers in Grades from Beginners up to Gr. VIII, which was very pleasing and rewarding. MeLaren, spent last Weekend camping at Bon BEho Provinc&ial Park and explored the Bonne- chere Caves in thc heautiful Bonnecihere Valley at Eganville, Ontario. In 1965 caves that bad lain dark and unknown for ten thousand years were op2ned for the first time. The boys enjoyed these many experiences and cam- ping together in the outdoors. ~1 Mrs. Esther Stewart Mes. Esther Stewart pass'ed a- way in the Marnwood Nursing Home on Friday, June 27th 1969 at 6 p.m. She had been ili for six years. * Mrs. Stewart was bern in Clarke * Township and was ninety-five Years cf age at the time cf death. She was the. daughter cf Ann Mann and Robert Coville, and wý-as educated in Orono No. 9 Pub- lic Sebool and Port Hope High - School. - She was married in August 1916 te Robert Stewart and was a member of St. Saviour's Angli- can Church, Orono. Surviving are two nephews, AI- lisorn Cowan, of Toronto and Col- ville Evans cf rena. The funeral service was held at the Morris Funeral Chapel on Monday, June 30th 1969. Rev., Robt. Hayne, Newcastle was in charge cf the service and the funeral music was played by Mrs. Ross HaIlowell. The poil bearers were: Bill Colville,' James Colville ~. Colin Smith, Charles Stapleton, Robt.
