Olga Beauchamp Township Council Meeting Council of the Townsh'ip of Ciàrke held a special meeting on Jdonday evening when, they re- filed a letter from Sundene Est- ates regarding road construction un a concession five subdivision 'whieli is to be eoiupleted by July 31, 1970. Correspondence in this regard points out that as of June 18, 1970 no action had been tak- en for the construction. Also filed ,was aletter from Mr. C. L. Lewis who stated that the agreement for the road construction is with Clarke Township and that the Township rather than he should pursue the matter. A. by-law was presented to al- low the Orono Youth Theatre to Jiold Sunday performances. The draft by-law is to bc presented to the Orono Police Trustees to a- wait their recommendations. No action was taken by Council oth- er than the referral. Council of the Township of Clarke have reapplied to have the township registered in order that industr.y can qualify for assistance from the Ontario Development Corporation. A letter from Curv- ply Wood Products indicated that the local company was anticipat- ,ing a $200,000.00 expansion pro- gram to manufacture plastic fur- niture parts. The Township was qualified under the seheme up un- tii June of 1969 when the regis- tration lapsed. Couneil aecepted the tender of .Larsen Grills Ôonstruction Co.
