The Heykoop family of Orono R.R.N. were the victimns of an automobile accident at 4:30 a.m. Sunday morning as they left their home and imade entrance onto Highway 15 'Dead are Gerrîtt Heykoop, 43, bis wife Betty, 38, and children iîobert 16, Diane 14 and Yvette 9. The Heykoops owned and operated 'the Coach and Four Restaurant and Gift StIudio north of Kirby o-n Highway 115. Robert and Diane were students at Clarke High School while Yvette attended the Kirby Centennial Public Schooi. The boan of books for the year 1973 increased over ten percent while card carrying ierbers now total 810. The Library xill now be opened by the new Town of Newcastle but this change had not as yet been set up. The librariaf's report also noted the need for further space for the library which should be completed within the next two years. RIGIIT ON THE JOB -The Weather man did not catch the new systemn of goveraiment short last week when he showered the Village with a number of inches of new snow. The road depar tment of the new area Municipality of Newcastle were quick to respond, with the snow being removed from the business section in good time.
