To quaify for a position on the Bowmanville Playgrounds, Ward 2 an applicànt with less than two year's previous experience in Playground Work must either (a) successfuly complete the course or (b) pass a practical test and a written test on the date to be decided early in April. It is also essential that those who are selected attend a short refresher course, of one day duration prior to the opening of the Playgrounds. Everyone MIUST attend, there can be n6 exceptions. No remnuneration will be paid for these training periods. 2. Minimum requirements for ail applicants is 16 years of age as of Janaury Ist of the current year. 3.Bowmanville Playgrounds will operate five diays a week Monday to Friday for a period of seven weeks, from July 2nd to August l6th, both dates inclusive. Playgrounds will be ciosed on Monday August 5th Civic Holiday, with staff being paid for that day. The above mentiloned dates are tentative and subject to change. 4. The Salary Scale is as folows: CATEGORY "A" Two years or more on Playgrounds Salary $60.00 per week. CATEGORY "B"- One year on Playgrounds Salary $5700 per week.
