In order to get more members out to the Organizational Day, and to prevent conflicts with school activities and exams during the month of April, we have decided to hold a day-long Activity Orgamiz- ation Meeting on Saturday, April 2nd, at the Kirby Centennial Publie School startîng at 9:30 a.m. During the day-long program, ail 4-H Agricultural Clubs in the County will be set up, executives will be namned, programs will be laid out, meeting places and dates set, supplies handed out, and s0 on. It is, therefore, very important that anyone planning on going into 4-H in 1977 attend this event as there will be no seperate club organizational meetings as in the past. Projects that will be offered in 1977 include: Daîry Caîf (Junior and Senior Heifer), Beef Caîf (including Junior or Senior Heifer or Beef Steer), Swine, Sheep, Goat, Field Crops (including grain, corn and hay), Farm Manage- mient, Veterinary, Farmn Saf- ety, Landscape Gardening, Conservation, Rabbit, Hope Caîf Club (either Beef or Dairy, and senior). Other projects such as Potato could be offered if there is enough interest in forming a club. During the Activity Day there will be a program carried on by the 4-H Mem- bers' Council including so)cial recreation, games and danc- ing. Anyone who is interested in joining 4-H' for the first timre in 1977, is remi nded to bring their own lunch on the 2nd, and milk and donuts will be supplied. The program will be wrapped up by 3:30 p.m. in the afternoon. 4-H is a program that is open to young people, both rural and urban, between the ages of 12 and 19 as of January lst, 1977.
