The parade is to preceed the annual Athletic carnival and draw being held in the Fair Grounds in Orono.- The parade is to be headed by the Shrine band from Peterborough and will also include a further musical group fromn the Junior farm- ers. Many of the floats now entered stated Mr. Gray have a Canadian theme and will assist in the promotion of Canada Week. The parade will leave the Orono Park at 6:30 and make its way to thie Orono Fair grounds via the Main Street. At the fair grounds the Canadian flag along wlc4h the Canada Week flag will be raised and it is hoped that Allan Lawepce, M.P. for Durham will speak briefly on the thieme of Canada Week. Others who may wish to enter floats in the parade will be welcomed and should contact Mr. Charles Gray i Orono. Mr. Gray said that extra entries were coming in every day and he expects close to forty floats to takre part in the undertaking.
