Park visitations increase in area, Summner is (ffically here and withi cornes the ever increasing use of provincial park faciities. The five parks ini the Lindsay District,'Dal-- ington, ne-ar Bowmnanville; Serpent Mlounds, on ice* Lake' near Keene; MrkS. Burnhamn, on the outskirtls of Peterborough; Eiljust north of Omnemee; and Bal- sain Lake, west of Coboconk, are experiening anotier busy season. The unuisually dry and warmq weathier ini May and June resulted iii an increase 0f oven 1,000 cafr er niighits at the district, parks' this year in comparison to the sarme time period last season. This represents an increase of over 21 per cent. There has also, been an increase of 17 percent in sales of daily vehicle permits this year which represents over, 152,000 visitons to Lindsay District parks. This increase puts extra strains on park facilities and staff at times but we enjoy the popularity of the parks and welcome you.
