Scoring for Orono were Rhys Jenkins with 2 goals and Paul Morton with a single. On Sunday, Feb. l2th the boys travelled to Brooklin and played to a 2-2 tie On Monday night, Feb. l3th the O.M.H.A. Bantams opened playoffs at the Darlington Sports Centre against Little Britain. The first period saw Little Britain get one counter, as the Orono boys carried the puck into their end unable to poke it in. Kirk Carr backhanded a shot to get Orono on the scoreboard at the start of the second period, finishing the action started by Pete Kruhkert and Duane Major. Five minutes later Little Britain came back with two quick goals to end the second period leaving the score 3-1. The third period saw them score two more goals to end the game Little Britain 5, Orono 1.
