And about a week af ter that, among the linens given us by Mrs. Isabelle Challice, there was a long linen runner that was probably also for use on a piano - and most likely, not instead of the wool cover, but for use on top of it. Mrs. Challice's donation also inc- luded two doillies - one hand- crocheted - and two luncheon cloths of damask linen, both with open-work inserts.
