Newcastle was leading 6-2 going into the eighth inning when, Kendal scored three runs and then scored two more runs in the minth inning on Erie Moores homerun to give them the victory.' Bill Robinson, Eric Moore, Fraser Wallace and Dennis Knapp each hit a homerun for Kendal while Gary Cox hit a homnerun for Newcastle.
