Orono Weekly Times, Wednesday, October 18th. 19783 Marg Ibbotson seeks re-election MARG IBBOTSON Mrs. Marg Ibbotson will be seeking re-election to the Northumberland and New- castle Board of Education in the November l3th election as a representative for Ward 3. Mrs. Ibbotson was an active member on the transporta- tion, school closing, rec- reation and curriculum com- mittees during the past two years. She attended the Ontario School Trustees Con- vention as the representative for our School Board. Mrs. Ibbotson states her priorities for the next two years as being: 1. The continued strengthen- ing of basic skill and core programs in the elementary and secondary schools. 2. Maintaining a fair level of salary 'for Board employees while at the same timne showing concern for the area taxpayers. 3. Obtaining maximum effi- ciency from the existing transportation system.
