Joan- Marie Dean, Oshawa painter and printmaker, had an etching accepted into the exhibition and she, along with Smith, Sage and Cooper are represented in the current exhibition at the Margot adian Society of Painters in Water Colour exhibition which opened in London, Ontario, at the London Art Gallery. Charles Cooper was born and still lives in Oshawa. After his retirement in 1975, he turned a hobby into a full-time profession. Int- erested in photography for many years, Cooper began to do silk-screen printing in 1976 and is largely self-taught. He received honourable mention in the 1978 Oshawa Art Association juried exhibition. The ECOAA exhibition con- tinues at the Art Gallery of Cobourg until December 26.
