During the discussion many questions were asked as to the operation of the hall and who at this point was in charge of the hall. Mr. Hulsnian suggested that the upper floor of the Town Hall be used as a market-type merchandising out]let for such services as not now supplied by local mer- chants in the Village. He also asked for improvements to the downstairs to increase the usefulness, of the hall. It was suggested that the letter be referred to the Orono Hall Board who Mayor Rick- ard said had been appointed and were now operating -the hall. Mr. Fanning said his> dep- artment were still cleanîng the hall and making bookings and asked if they should continue. He also asked who. was going to pay the bills? Mr. J. Caruana said the hall board had held their first meeting but in speaking to one member of the board they were at a loss to know just what they were expected to do., He also said he was at a loss just what the position was at this time.
