Feb. th. and camne out 7-3 losers in this exhibition game. The Orono boys did not play with their usual intensity and neyer seemed to get going throughout the gaine. To compound their problems three of the Bowmanville goals were deflected in off the home defence. The remaining 'Bowmnanville goals were the resuit of sloppy play and give aways in the Orono defensive zone. One of the bright spots for Orono was the play of Robert Snoek as he scored a goal and an assist. Brian Hill also put forth a strong effort and scored an unassisted goal and Tint Mercer a consistent performer ail year, netted the other goal. Darren Dennis the other goal.. Darren Den- nis, Chris Richards and Wayne Atkins get honourable mention also. On Sat. Dec. 6th. Orono l.O.O.F. Peewees travelled to Ennismore for the final league gaine of the season. Orono had already clinched first place in regular league play and could flot seemn to get going and as a result came out on the short end of a 5-4 score. Orono started off quickly with Robert Snoek scoring assisted by Brian Souch and Mike Lane and Chris Richard scoring an unassisted goal to give the I.O.O.F. peewees a 2-0 lead at the end of the first period. in the second period En- nismore scored three goals to take a 3-2 lead as the Orono boys stopped skating and coasted. Robert Snoek scored his second goal of the game near the end of the game assisted by Darren Dennis, to make the final score of 5-4 for En- nismore. Despite this lack lustre effort the Orono boys should be congratulated for taking first place in the Tri- County league with a fine 15 wins, 2 losses and 1 tie record. The I.O.O.F.
