Many activities were held to enhance the attitudes of the students towards school. On Monday, we received our compatibility quizes back. The quiz was a couple of sheets of paper asking about individual înterests. Then they were sent to a com- puter and each student received the names of the five most compatible people for him and there were spot prizes. Tuesday was "national sock day". Everyone was to wear their favourite socks. Tickets were sold for the movie "The Elephant Man;,. To aà those who arc entered - Good Luck. Society hield their lst. meeting at St. Francis on Sunday, Feb. 2lst. Father Peter Seabrooke spiritual director of the Society, who is fromn the Peterborough Dio-cese spoke to those in at- tendance about wvhat the society does to help the poor and needy of the community. The Society assîst in emnergen- cies providing- gifts of food, clothing, friendship, comfort and spiritual guidance. He also talked about the history, of the Society which was founded in 1833 in Paris France. It was founded by 7 University Students who felt the need to bear witness to their Christian Faith by ac- tions as well as by word.
