Gladys lBrown led iCarol singing and also played several piano solos. Mr, Rick Gould was introduced and showed the prize-winning slides and also displayed the wfinners in, the coloured print contest. There wiere 49 entries in the sides and 741 entries in the coleured prints. Mliss Christine Brown, a new entrv won se-veral 'first prizes in slides and Mary Rutherford and TheLmna Gilbank again new entries 'n prints won several good prizes. A highilighlt of the evening was the presentation, of the silver vase ta Mr. Dudl8ey Deeley for winning m& points in the August Ayrnual] Show. This was peetdby Mr. Af Merrill, new bank manager of the Imperial Bank of Commerce, Oronoc. The award is presented by the Association'.s Hospital Occupational Hêalth and Safety Services (H.O.H.S.S.) ta the health care facilities with the lowest frequency af lost timre injuries among its staff. "Hospitals and other health care facilities are classified in five different categories based on firmn type and hours worked annually. Awards are presented each year ta those facilities in the province withi the best safety records", says Doug; Callen, O.H.A.'s Assistant Executive Director, HOHSS 0f the 171 hospitals and 87 other health care faclities in Ontario particip,,ating, 35 have earned the aadti year. Al hospitals and other hiealth care facilities in the province are eligible to receive the award.
