Tim Mercer got by the Fenelon Fall's goalie once more at 1:54, assisted by Rob Jerome and Todd Mercer, and with 35 seconds left to play, Rod Storsbergen scored the sixth goal of the first peiod, assisted by John Cowan and Scott Irwin. Fenelon Falls came out stronger in the second period and held Orono to one goal scored by Tim Mercer, assisted by Rob Jerome and Darren Dennis. They were unable to score, however, and the period ended at 7-0. The third period saw 7 penalties for the home teamn and 3 minors and one major for the visitors. Fenelon Falls fmnally scored with 3 minutes left to play. Kevini Powell got, by the Orono goalie, Ken Cameron assisted by, Scott Bacon and David Dominey. Although most of the ac- tion was around the Fenelon Falls net, Ken Camferon made several excellent saves. Orono passed the, puck around well and proved that, wînning is a teami effort. Orono -Tri-County Atoms storm Little Britain entry On Friday, Nov. 2, 1984, Orono hosted Little Britailn teamn winning by a score of 4-1. Little Britain scored the first goal, but Orono dîd flot give up. We fought hard, and had many shots on goal, but the puck just will not go through goalie pads! On Sunday, Nov. 4, 1984, Orono travelled to Little Bri- tain and again we won with a score of 4-O. For the first haîf of the game we had Scott Hall in the net. While he wasn't over worked, he did make some great saves. Stephen Shetler scored the first goal at 7:52 of the se- cond period, assisted by Chris Yeo. These two boys seemn to go together like peanut butter and jelly. At 5:29 of the second period, J.P. Tousignant scored an unassisted goal. The Orono boys gave Little Britain a mîlk break at this point, and waited for the third period before they came back to score again. At 6:30 of the third period our own little Chris Yeo scored a beautiful unassisted goal, and then at 6:06 the final goal was shot underneath the goaltender by Stephen Shetier, unassisted. Our goaltender for the last haîf of the, gamé was John Buttigieg. He lalso was flot over worked, but he did make the ntecessary saves. Keep up the good work boys.
