The amount rais- ed to t h at date was $1 ,489,240. Returns continue to comte in a steady pace to the United -'Way which provides funds to 38 agencies in the district con- ducting public service. The big contributors to date have been GM and GM workers who have subscribed $986,394 and it looks as if they witl reach the one million dollar mark.
