The first game was played in Pickering on May 22nd and Orono went dlown ta defeat by a score of 14-9. Orono was neyer out of contention in the gamne as they held the ead through the first 5 innings. In the seventh in- ning, seven Pickering runners cross- ed the plate ta put the game out of reach. Mike Landers started an the îuaund for the lacals and pitched a very slid five innings of twa it bail. Daryl Reid and Jason Mercer came in oni relief ta pitch the final two innings.
