Three hundred kids took part in the event with many being accom- panied by the parents. The event was well organized and well planned with music, clowns, fast food and even a model of ET. But from all appearances the kids were interested in the well marked bike course that wound around the IGA store and with the various check points. It was not only the number of laps but before testing the course each biker went through an inspec- tion of equipment and a testing of their biking skill and knowledge of Curvply to ci on July 28th by Gord Mills On Thursday, May 31st, the work force of 70 people at Curvply, Orono, were assembled and told by management that the plant was closing its doors for good, effective July 28th. Following a fire there, the operations were transfer- red to the present.location. Mr. Samuel soId the business to the present owners in 1984. The parade and demonstration is to commerate the 300th Anniversary of the Battle of the Boyne. Among those expected to attend are Ladies, Men and Junior Lodges from Central Ontario, including Napanee, Warkworth, Reaboro, Peterborough, Oshawa, Port Perry, Hastings, Bancroft, together with a large contingent from the Ottawa Valley.
