Marg West Is Satan Real?- In Isaiah 14:12-17 it tells us that Satan is real and why he feli fram his place in heaven. Verse 12, "How art thau fallen trom heaven, 0 Lucif er, son of the morning! how are yau cut down ta the ground (earth) which did weaken the na- tions!" (when he fell) Verse 13, -You have said in your heart 1 will ascend into heaven. 1 wilI exait my throne above the stars of gad. (he wanted ta be God) 1 will sit also upon the maunt of the congrega- tian in the sîdes of the north." Verse 14, -1 will ascent above the heights of the clouds (where God is) I will be like the most High." Verse 15, "You shall be brought down ta bell to the sides of the pit." Verse 16, "They that look upon thee and consider thee shahl say, Is this the man that made the earth ta tremble, that did shake kingdoms." Verse 17, "that made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed cities, and that kept his prisoners bound." Satan was the son of the morn- ing, he was in charge of the music in heaven, hie was the sang leader wor- shipping and praising God wth the saints. But pride entered in and he thought hie could elevate himself above God and be like the mast High. Rebellion against God brought about a show down and Satan and one-third of the angels were thrown out of heaven down ta earth. We see that it was pride and rebellion that caused Satan ta faîl. lniquity was found in him. Pride and rebellion are the.cause today of the faîl of many,, many- people. Luike 10:18 Jesue talking ta seventy of His fallowers, l'm gaing back ta verse 17 first. They were A excited because they had been out minister- ing and they said, "Jesus even the devils (demons) are subject unto us in your name." Verse 18, Jesus said, "I beheld Satan as lîghtning fall from heaven." Satan is real and demons are real. We don't actually see themn but the manifestation of what they are do- ing i people's lives, murders being ccîmmitted by people saing they were told ta do it. By who? By evil spirits that's by who. Satan is the master of deception. He's a lier and the father of lies. If he can get your mind you will do whratever he wants you ta. That's why drugs are so rampant today when he gets -your mind ail screwved up by drug abuse he's got you. You may think you are doing youir own thing, but yeou are playing right into the hands of the devil. Next week we'll look at some more tactics the devil uses ta seduce people. Get into the word and keep your mnd full of God's word, if you would do this you would be aware of Satan's tactics. Comments or-.Questions? Write Box, 179, Orono.
