Senior Kindergarten by John David Tinkier Caylie Staples Junior Choir I have recently been to a choir practice. 1 have joined and learned mhe songs. There are 43 members in the junior choir. 'Their first performance is for the Remembrance Day assembly Orono Public School has every year. The songs are "One Tin Soldier and Blowmng in the Wind." Mrs. Prouix and Mrs. Abbott are in charge and both play guitars. The daily exercises arent just for singing they are for attitude and to take responsibilities! 'im sure everyone enjoys singing. by Jennica Femstrom Grade 6 - Mrs. Bailey's Room Boy's Harrier Team C.ompete at Enniskillen ,October l7th the Orono Boys Harrier Team went to the Enniskillen Conservation Area for the Harrier Meet. The team departed from the school at 2:30 p.m. When they arrived they took a walk around the course. The race' was to start at 3:30 p.m. There were 47 runners in mhe race. Good team spirit was shown and Scott MacDonald finished in 2nd place. Members of mhe team were Scott MacDonald, Mat Perry, Dale Frew, Phillip Williamson, Colin MacDonald, Leif Giese, John Giese, Gerrit Van Dyke and'Adam Slimmon. GirI's Race at Enniskillen<s Harrier Meet Orono Girls Harrier Teamn raced well running at the Enniskillen Conservation Area. They raced through the woods along roads, across fields over bridges on irregular ground. The people who raced were Leslie West, Paula Partner, Vanessa Slimmon, Amanda Dobson, Andrea Etmanskie, Jennica Femstrom and Alison Finlay. Leslie West placed second out of the 37 girls mhat were running. Soccer Resuits Orono Ties Emilie Stowe Orôno tied Emilie Stowe 2-2 for their first game. They scored the first and second goal and then Scott Sawyer scored. With minutes left Scott MacKay scored to tie it Up. Orono 2 team defeated Dr. Emilie Stowe 7-2 in the soccer match.
