Clarke High School is once again functioning. The Christmas holidays seem like things of the far past as students and teachers make the final efforts before the examina- tions that begin January 21. The 1990 year at Clarke High Sehool ended with another in a long tradition of outstanding Talent Assemblies. Twenty-four acts rang- ing from solo to large group efforts by the Intermediate Stage Bandi took part. Over seventy-five stutients participateti in aIl roles from M.C. and stage bands to per- formers. This annual assembly allows stutients to develop skills and talents anti gain invaluable ex- perience in "performing live- before over 500 students and staff. This type of experience develops confidence in stutients, andi this confidenceý helps them in future roles they may be calleti upon to perform.
