A lovely Communion Service, is scbeduled. - We aIl wish Phyllis Peck a speedy recovery; Mrs. Peck was in Port Hope Hospital awbile back because of a fail that resulted in a broken ankle and cracked kneecap. Phyl is recuperating at ber daughters in Starkville, and we do look forward to baving her back home soon. - Another person we really miss around town is Wally Bougben. Wally went hack mb toMemorial Hospital last Thursday for another operation. He is hoping to be back home sometime this week. Get well Wally, its not the sanie around here wtbout you. - "Play Place" invites all momns with preschoolers to join in on their get togethers every Wednesday morning from 9:30 amn. to 11:30 a.m. at the Churcb Sunday School room. The little tykes really look forward to Iis friendly social event on their calendar, and Moms enjoy Ibe time out too. Everyone is welcome! - Newtonville Public School will be sending students to the Lions Centre i Cobourg this Wednesday, Marcb 27th for the annual "Think Bowl"* event. Good luck to ail! With a turnout of 19 tables, a grand time was had by ail! Top scores were very, very impressive: A 95 from Pearl Clark, Dorothy Brancb and Ewart Robinson 90, Lloyd Stephenson 87, Ed Couroux 86, and George Tufford also with 86. The local Ministerial Association will be conducting the annual Good Friday Cross Walk. Ail churches i tie area will be participating. The walk will begin at St. Francis of Assissi in Newcastle at 1 p.m., progress along Hwy. 2 10 Newîonville Cburch. Tbe procession usually takes about 2- 1/2 bours. There will be Stations along the route, and a brief service at Newtonville once everyone bas arrived back. Everyone is welcomne.
