Family Medicine North was dievloped jointly by tflfive Healthi Science Centres along with Lakehead University in Thunider Bay and Lauirentian University ini Sudbury. The minister also announced funding for expansion arnd decentralization of the Famnily Medicine Residency Programs at the Universities of Toronto, Ottawa, McMaster, Western and Quieens'. Funding for this fiscal year for the programis will total $2.9 million.
