These funds are then directed towards whatever residents at the nursing home need or want at that particular time. The June Strawberry Tea Social and Bazaar heid last Saturday, Jane 21 was certainly no exception! As the sun finaliy shone through, visitors and family mnembers filtered downstairs at the centre to be treated 10 complimentary strawberry shortcake, tea and coffee. Across the hall was a di spiay of country crafts available for purchase, aong with a very popular bake table and yet another table offering various "goodies" donated frorn local merchants, to be won by tickets sold. Support given by the foilowing local businesses is tremendously appreciated by residents and staff of the Newcastle Heaith Care Centre.
