The loss of the $45,000 grant that had been received by the centre in 1991 ftom the province has had to be made up through sizeable increases in charges to the users. It is understood that some classes have cancelled their visit to the centre due to the extra charge being levied. Funding is available to carry- on the program to the end of the school year, June 1992. 'Me future of the centre operation is in doubt due to lack of funding.
