The team was lead by outstanding contributions from Gena Fayer, Melanie Vandergaast, Nathan Siebenga, Jennifer Feddema and Harold Westerman of Bowmanvile and Jodi Bosch of Cobourg. Members of this championship teamn advanced to, the Durham/York Region Championships where, Gena Fayer and Melanie Vandergaast finished one and two in the Junior Division. DCHS Badminton teams were coached by SaIly Triedlinger. Durham Christian High School provides quality Christian Education to students froin the Northumberland, Victoria and Peterborough counties and the Durham Region. The school showcased ils vanied talents from ail grades for family members to see. The school is also holding a staff bail gaine on Friday. Newcastle Public School presented a display of students' work in the Bowmanville Maîl. Grades one and seven also held a spring concert in the Town Hall on Thursday last. The school paper is almost ready for circulation. Both St. Francis and the Newcastle Public School have celebrated Education Week.
