But, the car wash held on Saturday, May 9th, fared better. The Senior Band, would like to thank the comm'unity, especially "Armstrong's IGA," for its continuing support of the Band's endeavours. Mr. Kapp, the band's director, would like to also thank aIl the parents fQr their patience and fundraising efforts. Speaking of endeavours, the Band is getting ready f'or its largest event sine its New Orleans trip two years ago. This Saturday afternoon, the prestigious Senior Band will be "lgoing for gold" at the international Music Festival in Chicago, Illinois. On its return, the Band will celebrate the year's achievements at the annual Band Ba nquet to be held Wednlesday, may 27th. Senior Girls Soccer Clarke Senior Girls Soccer Teamn recently ended up in first place overaîl in league play. Led by a solid defense Clarke bas only bad two goals scored against it al season wbile recording six shut outs. Clarke's defense includes goalie Liz Oxenhamn, fullbacks Danielle Donald, Monica Rorabeck, Megan Davies and Carnie Farrow. Clarke's offense is led by Judy Devries, Sherry Foster and Andrea Hartmann. The team, just won their semi-final gaine 3-0 over Cobourg E-ast and hosted tbe league final this Wednesday against Canipbellford.'
