The sun shone bright for the two-day Multiple Scierosis (MS) 150 Bike Tour between Orono and, Peterborough over the past week- end. The round-trip between the two centres was one of five MS 150 Bike Tours held in Ontario this year. The Orono/Peter- borough event was an new entry and was sponsored by Noranda Forest. mc. which this year spons ored five such events across Canada. It was an early rise Saturday morning for the 369 bikers who regi'stered at the Orono -fair grounds and the 200 volunteers that were spread throughout the course of the tour and taking part in organization at both Orono and Peterborough. Many familiar faces from this community were evident in assisting as volunteers at the fair grounds. The Orono/Peterborough tour had been listed as the most challenging Noranda Forest tour as it made its way through his and dales to Peterborough and back. On the completion of the tour Sunday afternoon many bikers commented on the beauty of the route and as well made comment on the his to be conquered both travelling north and south. Each participant paid a registration fee of,$55 which providedý entertainment and accommodation at Trent University Saturday afternoon and evening.
