Michael Carman- senior division; Evelyn Brown -senior elementary division and Richard Bunting - junior division., The Orono Orphans in playing a game at the Orono rink on Wednesday night came up with a 3-2 decision over a team front the City of Peterborough. Dean West scored the opening goal, Junior West the second goal and Buck Cowle scored the winning goal. January 1956 Mrs. E. H. Samuel and daughter Lisa returned home after spending holidays wîth relatives in Toronto. Officers were elected at this time - President, Stella Carsoni; Vice-President, W. Mitchell; Secretary-Treasurer, R. Sutton; Treasurer of Flower Fund, Mrs. M. Rickaby; Organist and Choir Leader, Mrs. Workman. A new hockey team is te go into action this week wîth the formation of the Orono Atom Hockey Team. This team will be made up of boys of ten years and under. Wayne Bailey and Malcolm McKenzie wlll bc looking after these boys. The regular a nnual meeting of lot holders of Orono Cemetery was held in the Town Hall, Orono at-2:30 p.m. Monday afternoon. Messrs. J. E. Armstrong, M.C. Hall and E.J. Hamm spoke regarding the condition of the old cemetery on Mill Street and suggested plans for having it cleaned up.
