The Authority has an active.resource management programi including water and land management as well as conseýrvation. The Ganaraska Region Conservation Authority has over 361 square miles of land within its jurisdiction. The administrative office and central workshop are located in the Township of Hope, just north of Port Hope on Highway -28. DUTIES: As the Communications Coordinator, the successful applicant will be responsible for the overali direction of the Authority's communication and information services program in conformance with the Authoritys recently approved Conservation Strategy for the 1990s. Specific tasks include development of a communications strategy, media relations, presentations, coordination of special events, and public education. QUALIFICATIONS. A degree or certificate in a related discipline and/or equivalent experience in community relations is required. Excellent communication akili's, and a high degree of initiative are also assets.
