Tuesday, March l6th Major visited Bowmanvilie arena for a league match with Carnation. Major exhibited a solid effort as they skated away with a 6-2 victory. DufferiAggregates humbles Eiders The boys of Dufferin Aggregates shattered the confidence of some dozen fathers (Eiders) who were foolish enough to take up the challenige--this Friday past. A merciful scorekeeper did flot accurateiy track this iopsided fiasco. The aged Elders tried to skate with these young Bobby Hulîs (sorry wrong generation make that Brett Huils) but they just didn't have the legs this night. Some first time goal scorers for Duffcrin shone this night. Colin Maitland was one sucb with a fine breakaway goal that had the Eiders desperately diving and panting to return to the play. Another first time scorer was Brian Pisani who cashed in on flot one but three to make a natural hat-trick. An excellent effort by Matt Mitchell produced a spectacular goal. After a finesse rush from behind bis own net through -the entire Eiders' team and pounded the puck past the fumbiing Elders netminder.
