Book Review from Crystal Pages THE ORIGIN: The magnificent saga of Charles Darwin by Irving Stone - As a young man he set sail on a 5 year journey around the entire globe, part of a nav al map-making expedition, he being the resident 'naturalist'. 0f extraordinary talents Darwin made copious notes on his observations in an effort, always, to know the truth and to understand the mystery of human origins. His wife, the mother of bis nine children, supported his work in al aspects, despite the fact that she was a highly religious person who feared that he would, with bis conclusions, offend bis God. Tbis is a biographical novel of epic proportions; dealing with the life, times and destiny of the man (together with the comradeship of a scholarly few) who did so much to dispel the darkness of the unknown and change forever humankind's view of itself. Throughout his life, he suffered from digestive and other physical ailments, made much the worse by his necessity to plunge on, againsi, often, attacks from all sides. This is a most enlightening and interesting study. 1Recycled - New American Library - Weed Spraying - Fertillzlng - Insect Spraying - PIug Coraeratlon Yearly pro grams available for the month of April only 20% coff.
