Mr. Lumsley said it the proposed Highway 407/transit corridor to Highway 35/115 is an integral part of the required provincial transportation system. The purpose of the facility is to, not only serve the needs of Newcastle but also the Greater Toronto Area and other locations including Peterbrrugh, Lindsay and the Kawarthas.
