Thrill Show Productions from London will once again be managing the derby, one of 37 that this company operates across Ontario from May, 23 in Georgetowný until the grand finale- in Simcoe, on T'hanksgiving Weekend. 1As in the past the entry forms can be obtained at Hwy. 115 Orono Fair Truck and Auto Sunoco Station on Hwy. 115, just, South of Orono. The cost is $22.00, the same as last year. The show will feature thre beaus of 10 cars eacb with a final heat of the winners from the first three heats. The winner of this last heat will bave an-opportunity to compete in the Grand Champion Derby in Simcoe on, October Ilth. Total prize money for the Orono event will be $800.00 plus trophies for each challenge and the best decorated car. Three Orono Guiders and a 'ding visitor from Taiwan left -,iono Monday to attend a ten day International Guiding event in Guelph called Guelph '93. Guelph '93 is being held at Guelph Lake Conservation Area, Guelph, Ontario, from July 12 throug h 22, 1993., Expected to attend are 2000 Canadian girls, 500 adult staff and 500 -international guests. Some of the 50 countries that have accepted our invitation are Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, China, Finland, Greece, Hong .Kong,- Haiti, Ircland, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanoni, Oman, Sweden, Netherlands, New Zealand, Pakistan, Philippines, Romania, Singapore, South Africa, Tansania, the United States, the United Kingdom, Uganda and Zambia. Homestead Hilîs,. the King Farm, were able to boast a fair attendance at a Horse Show held this past Saturday.
