Sometimes I feel like the apsle Paul. At least I think I do. Maybe Paul wouldnt think so. Some of the situations that confront us can become overwhelming, you somnetimes think you are going to sink. But God is faithful. He will neyer alwour foot to slip. It's like wanting to do thethings you should and sometimes you end up doing the things you shouldn't. It's like trying to get an article done every week I want to do it but don't sometirnes. Paul was like that the things he strived to do he didn't bu e found himself doing things he didnt want to do. Yet he was used rightily of God wasnt he? Look at how much of the New er that Testament he wmote. He obviously ir thatg did something right and well. I'm s-obeing sure I do too but I'm no t doing all I ion and want to do for God are you? haIt is Paul says in II Cor. 25, "He was saidthe beaten three limes with rods, said0the stoned once, shipwrecked three 30.00tha times, a night and a day in the .00 te deep. In journeying often, in perils 00pr of waters, in perils of robbers, in ject has perids by his own people, in penîls îe tbas by the heathen (unbelicvers) in ethn perils in the ciîy, in perils in the wildemness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren (ones who pretend to be Christians). In weariness, and painfulness, in watchings, in hunger and thirst, in fl fastings often in coldan nakedness." Quite a story isn't it but you know we also are living in periless times now. We could aimost bc going through those same trials as Paul. Probably someone is, soiewhere in this world going through somne of these things everyday. Crime is on the rise, sbootings, robbery, murder, floods (look at Iowa and Missouri). Fighting is on the rise in 3rd world counbries. Wec are blessed or have been in our Country of Canada. But violence and crime, and occult things are becorning evident in ail of our cities and srnall communities. There is an outright war it seems on anything that is good, and it wilI get worse. But dont despair. God is faitbful. If we faint neo. Don't be alarmed at the news casi, or what is taking place in our World. God told us these things would corne to pass. We are £0 hold on to the promises in His Word. God tells us in the last part of Heb. 13:5, "1 wiIl neyer leave you nor forsake you. In Heb. 13:8, 'Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever." Jesu& neyer changes. Put your trust in Jesus Christ and you will corne out of every shipwreck experience., Comments or Questions, write R.R. 2, Orono. Watch total Christian T.V.
