There was the strength of the Commercial or Percheron in the pulls, the speed of the.,trotters and pacers, the flight of the Hunters and Jumpers and of coursethe horse-power of the internai combustion engîne. These ranged from the one-lunger in the antique tractors- and engines, to the antique cars, the modified lawn- and garden tractors for pulls, other souped-up vebicles down to the battery operated Radio Controlled cars also showing their power in a' miniature pull.. But the fair was much more than horse-power. t was the pride in ownership of the best in the class whether a pumpkin or a prized chicken, rabbit, beef or dairy cow. The list goes on and on. For the spectators the fair cari be equally interesting in seeing who is involved in what and what a first place lamb really looks like. There is much to learn and much to enjoy from the sounds and'the smells of the fair.
