The players and their families enjoyed a great selection of food from the buffet bar, as well as beverages. For dessert, a special cake decorated with the Angel's logo was served Up. Speciai thanks goes out to al the players and their families for activeiy participating in a season filled with fun and learning. This year's fundraisinig campaign was a great success for the Angels. As a resuit of selling 542 tickets, the Orono Angels were the top seiiing team in the T-Ball/4 Pitch Division. The team received $ 150.0o iii pirize mnoney, as well as a portion of the profits which' came to $235.00. This great team effort funded a great teami party! Winners of individual incentive prizes were Brandon AMin, Ryan Ball and Jennifer-Lyn Gunn. Jason Hoyne was the top overal seller in Orono and top overal seller in the T.0O*N.B.A., with a total of 160 tickets soid. His prizes inciuded a Blue Jay Sweater, 2 Blue Jay gaine tickets and a Blue Jay T-shirt. Peewee Rep team entry int the OBA Playoffs The Orono Peewee Rep team ended their season with their entry to the O.B.A. Playoffs held in Thamesford, Ontario. The first gaine was very closely contested which saw Orono- go down 'to defeat in the bottom of the final inning. The next game unfortunately provided us with our 2nd and final loss. Family Auto looked sharp from the opcning faceoff as they outshot their opponients 16-1 and out-scored therm 6-0. Passing and quick line changes were the order of the day for Orono. Family Auto clcarly dominated the game in both ends of the rink. T.O.N.B.A. basebail season winds down The T.O.N.B.A. Houseleague has finished off its '93 season over the past few weeks. On September 1 1 & 12 Orono hosted the Bantam Playoff/Tournament. Unfortunately our hiome town tmains, SonBon Homes and the Donut Gallery, were eliminated from the tournament, but they both posted excellent regular season resul' ts and provided somne entertaining performances in the tournament as well. The regular season champs, National Home Video, were defeated in their opening game but went on to be "B" Champs defeating C&C Motors by an 11- 1 score. The "A" Championship went to Bowmanville Glass in the exciting 1-Q victory over Greenaways Petro Can. The Orono Mosquito teamn played the Septem ber I lth weekend in Courtîce and they too were unable to make it to the Championship rounds, but boosted a good regular season showing. The September 18 and 19 weekend Orono sponsored the Tyke Division show down. The home town clubs in this division, Allinbrook Feeds and Hunt's Photo, were eliminated from the "A" Championship round but the Hunt's Photo teani played a heart wrenching game which saw them defeated in the "B" Chamnpionship to M & M Meats by a 6-5 score. The "A" Championshîp went to Greenaways Petro Can over Henry Buildall by an 8-2 score.
