The meeting was held in Oshawa with reps froin the Durham Boards of Education, public and separate, the Northumberland and Clarington public board and the Peterborough, Victoria, Northum- berland and Newcastle Separate Board. The group forms the Safe Schools Committee and involves Durhamn Regional Police, Peterborough, Port Hope and Cobourg police. The members of the committee signed a protocol outlining procedures to be followed dealing with violence in area sehools.
