Last Monday the grade six students at St. Francis hosted a staff spaghetti lunch. The lunch cost staff five dollars, with proceeds going towards the students upcoming -trip" to the Ganaraska Forest Centre. Other fund raisers have included popcorn sales, bake sales, and a German Christmas bake sale thatwas held during the schools "Christmas Around the World" last December. Fund raising continues through March. The three day-two night trip is scheduled to take place i April. While the students are at the forest centre they will be participating in a number of outdoor activities. Growth in Durham Region is cause for another realignment of federal rriding boundaries that are considered every ton years.
