It is, also,,recommanded that a station ba developed in Courtica. The Courtice Station is somatime in dia future following a second station in Oshawa and dia ned for dia expansion of that station which coul d bc locatad at Bloor Street in the east end of dia City. It is suggasted that the Bowmanville Station could bc built within savan yeaar widi dian a possible ridership of 425 people a day and diat dhis figure would increase by f ifty percent over dia following tan years of building tha station., The Bowmanvile station, no mattar where built, would raquire parking spaces for 800 cars, 60 kiss 'n ride spaces, a taxi stand and four bays for buses. The other four sites in Bowmanvila would bc at King Street at Martin Road, Scugog Road, Liberty Street and Maarns Avenue. The cost of the Station is suggestad at $5.7 million wo $6.5 million. Provision is also baing made for a doubling of track in the Courtice area west of Pres- wonvala Road for trains "to hay- over" instead of returning to Toronto. Such a doubling of track is located west of Wbhitby.
