The guest speaker Mrs. Sharon McGee of Bramble Bush Flower Shop, ,Bowmanville, -was introduced by Inez Harris, her topic was on "Flower Design'.. When preparing gardens for a project like this you should have différent types of flowers planted in masses, grape vines, dried roses, baby's breath, straw flowers, eucalyptus, June static and odd flowers. Everyone enjoyed the demonstration. Fred Lesage thanked the guest speaker. Sharon gave away beautiful basket of dried flowers in the draw, the lucky lady being our eldest member Mrs. Edith Taylor. There were many other draws, and a good attendance at the show. Shelley called on Doreen to give the show report and present the Special Awards. We are trying something different this year and will be presenting the money for prizes at the end of the year. Doreen also thanked our Judge Vicki Lesnick for the fine judging.
