OrooWetIytms~W.cinesaNvmer 94- ou Congratulations to ail Homestead Huis Riders! On Sunday, October 16, Homestead Hilis Stables had their îast schooling show of die season. Ail the students are placed in divisions on their riding abilities. The beginner riders are placed i Division "A". The "B" Division, the riders walk trot and do Trotting Poles. The "C" Division the riders to walk trot cantering and some fences. And ini the "D" Division the riders do courses of fences at a full canter. Many of the students of Homestead will be moving up to the next divisions, when our new season begins in June 1995. In the "A" Division the Champion rider for the season was Heina Bier and the reserved champion rider was Beira Malda. In the "B"- Division the champion rider for the season was, Andrea Miller and the reserved champion rider was Kera Collier. Now, a montb later, let's revýiew the colourful tradition. This year's Halloween included a first ever four school dance. Clarke sold 115 tickets for the dance. Then there was the annual pumpkin carving contest. OAC-B won the contest. To conclude the festivities, Clarke students dressed up for Halloween. The class with the best costumes would win a 6 foot sub. The winners were Ms. Scoffield's Cap Class and the Frontenac classmoom. The number of students who dressed up Monday was plentiful and every costume I saw looked phenomenal. Clarke students didn't lack Halloween spirit this ya. . . boo-tom line.
