16- Orono Weekly Times, Wednesday, November 9, 1994 Cut ribbon of new Clarington Fire Station Thoughts From The Top: For this Remembrance Day, "Remember the Future." Cover Story: Every Remembrance Day, everyone remembers thc people who died for our country. This saying can refer to any war; the civil or the Korean War, though it's mostly direcied to the war of wars, World War 2. Though we should also remnember the veterans as well as the fact that if we had another war like this one, ià would be our judgement day. The kind of weapons developed today make the weapons of World War 2 look like tinker toys. It's a scary thought, though thatis something we have to thînk about once a year on Remembrance Day. We are lucky, because the survivors from that war have to live with the same memories, every day of their lives.
