The team seemed to have Christmas celebrations more than hockey, on their minds as they b umbled through the affair. Missed assignments and shakey goaltending kept the Majors behind in the play and the scoring throughout. Orono's netminder Ian Crashley would like to have had a second chance on at least two of the Sunderland markers. As Crashley struggled, the opposition's small in stature goaltender loomed taîl as the Majors pressed to gain the tie. Sunderland defence rebuffed Orono's attempts to carry the puck beyond their blueline on countless occasions. Tabbing goals were Bickle, Caruana and Adegeest with assists going to Adegeest, Caruana (2), Robinson, Szymczak and Bicide. The Majors will have to wait til the playoffs to redeem themselves against Sunderland as thîs was the last regular season meeting.
