Feel For the first couple of weeks off the job there was pîenty to do around the house especially outdloors, Donna hias the inside weIl under conirol. It was a matter of swinging into grass cutting and trimming the hedge and putting a finishing touch on a couple of new gardens, vgabeand trees and perennial flowers. Having these set aside for- dhe tine being it was a look arouind to, find what else mighit be done witliin the scope of home. Weil there was the car and it alwý,ays looked like a gravel truck on1 the inside and the outside, neyer got washed unless, of course, it rained. Taking first things first it was an interior cleanup Ieavirtg no trace of that gravel on the floor. 0f cýourse out came the garden hose and chamois for our attack for beauty on the outside. Certainly this was a big step ahead but what about a wax job. Off to Wallace Auto'Suppîy for spray -on wax and one that takes littie effort to bring up a real polish. What a difference it al made both inside and outside. The biggest shock at thle presenit ime is getting used t te fact that I do not have access to a 'cash ill'. If in the past 1 missed banking hours there was always the cash drawer and a few bucks hecre and there wouldn't upset the a lance that mucli. 1 was telling Bill Carman about this fact of retirement ftom business and he said, "Tell me about it". I take from this hie ran into the same problemn on his retirement somne years ago. He also said this was a fact that hiad been pointed out by Matt Snelders upon his retirement. I guess it is a mnatter of organizing our cash flow and having control on expenditures. If we have to carry, more cash around the new Two Dollar Looney is not going to help.
