They start at the age of four and go to the age of ap- proximately eight, depending on their size. TIhey are let out of a chute on the back of a sheep and they try to ride for at least eight seconds. 1Ail the contestant has to hold on with is their hands dug into the sheep's wool. They are judged by two judges on how they sit, some times distance, how much action the sheep has, and how mucli you, the spectator cheers. These small competitors are beginning their rodeo ca- reer so let us cheer them on. Rodeo is a family sport and we ail know the influence we can have on children.
