Orono Weekly Times, Wedniesday, Janur3,19 7 Second Annual Wassail- at Kirby P.S. The Kirby Centennial Public School held its second lannual Christmas Wassail on December 20. The students told the story of Christmas with choir singing, live animais, and horse-drawn wagon rides. The Wassail was forced inside of the school due to the extreme cold. Here the young actors receive applause froma the audience at the conclusion of their performance. At approximately 1: 15 a.m. a maie and female entered thei Mac's Milk store situated at 475 Westney Road Northi and approached the s tore clerk at the counter. Th-e maie suspect produced what appeared to be a sîlver covered hand gun while his female accomplice held a knife., The two demanded cash and cigarettes but settled for five packs of cigarettes when the- store clerk was unable to open the cash register. Both' suspects then lied the area on foot. SUSPECT # 1 described as maie, white, 16 to 20 years of age, dark hair wear- ing a light coloured t-shirt partiaily covering his face and a dark coloured waist Iength jacket. SUSPECT # 2 described as female, white, 16 to 20 years of age, dark hair wear- ing blue jeans and a light coloured long sleeve sweat- shirt with an animal depic- tion on the front portion. Crimestoppers will pay a cash reward of up to $ 1000.00 for any informa- tion that leads to an arrest in this incident or any other serious offense.
