A 7:30 a. m. gaine got the boys off to a crisp start. Our first' goal was'in the second period by #39 Daniel Maclssac. A precise pass by # 17 Darcy Mitchell made for a great goal. Nice going, guys! #9 Troy Webster fought hard in front of the net dig- ging and poking at the lose puck until it finally crossed the line to give us goal #2. Good work, Troy! 1The 3rd goal by #4 Michael Whelan. Mike's offensive skills allow hlm to mnove in and týke advantage of lose pucks as well as get- ting by the defense. Smart hockey, Mike! Score is now 3-3, last shift of the.game and par- ents are hoping for a tie against the evenly matched Sound Masters. Our offense line was #6f) Robert Kay, #7 Brandon Ernst and #33 Colin-Kelly. A tie for #66 Robert Kay was not good enough! He put away the gamne winner with a well earned assist by #7 Brandon Ernst. The gaine was in the bag-the crowd goes wild! #33 Colin Kelly takes a long hard shotjust seconds later and finds the open five hole. Nice shot, nice goal Colin. To finish off our 6-3 vic- tory #7 Brandon Ernst slides one into the net in the last seconds of the gamne' assisted by #66 Robert Kay and,#33 Colin Kelly. #14 Denis Beenen and #4 Micheal Whelan kept, the puck inside the blue line to make this shift an extreme- ly exciting shift. Good work guys!! #29 Kyle Balsoni was goal- tender this week. Kyle played an excellent game making many key saves and cov ered up ail the rebounds. Nice job Kyle! A great game this week with special thanks to Mr. Geraldi for buying a round of pops for the boys as well as Santa for showing ttp at our famlly team skate. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Orono Leafs victory of 8-O was an exciting game to watch. Some key saves by goalie #29 Kyle Balson gave Kyle a nice shut-out. Good going, Kyle! Our star of the game was #66 Robert Kay. A very hard working determined player gets rewarded with his sec- ond hat trick plus 2 assists. A five point game - nice work Robert! Robert started the game off wîth an open net goal assisted by #7 Brandon Emrst. Second goal was unas- sisted by #66 Robert Kay. Third goal was a low hard shot by #39 Daniel Maclsaac, beat the goalie dlean, assisted by #93 Lucus Leech. Good teama work! Fourth goal by #7 Brandon Ernst, a perfect pass from behind the net by #66 Robert ity. A one timer shot for a beauty goal - great play guys! Goal five came from a solid effort by #9 Troy Webster, a long shot through the five hole to make the score 5-0. Goal six was #66 Robert Kay's third goal of this game, assisted by #7 'Brandon Ernst. These guys racked up 8 points in one game. Keep up the great work! Seventh goal was scored by #33 Colin Kelly, assisted by #66 Robert Kay. A scramble in front of the net had these guys digging for the lose puck when Colin slides it in. Our final goal was scored by # 14 Denis Beenen, assisted by #39 Daniel Maclsaac and #93 Lucus Leech. Again this was a net scramble but persistence payed off. Excellent work guys!! Everyone played hard this week giving their best. The score board proved this.
